The Property Accountant position is responsible for providing support to the Community Management team while producing accurate monthly financials for each assigned community.


  • Complete monthly financials by the last day of the following month with Financial Summary and investment information
  • Create and update Bank signature cards
  • Process Investment Requests
  • Process monthly late fees for assigned accounts
  • Re-class items in the general ledger per Community Manager request
  • Process Board meeting minutes as received (three-day turnaround)
  • Process bad debt write-offs for homeowner accounts
  • Create SOP’s for Accounting tasks
  • Meet all set deadlines and expectations
  • Work with Vantaca to resolve accounting related issues
  • Perform monthly Job Streaming tasks (Assessments, Late fees, Interest, Prepaid)
  • Provide daily support to the Community Management team
  • Perform all accounting tasks if needed (Collections, Escrow, AR, AP)
  • Respond to all emails within 24 hours
  • Maintain filing systems for assigned communities
  • Special projects & tasks as assigned


  • 4 Year College Degree preferred but not required
  • Experience as a Property Accountant highly preferred
  • Strong AR, AP & financial knowledge
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Windows and preferably some experience in working with Vantaca
  • Customer service driven
  • Ability to perform under deadlines and pressure
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Motivated and self-starter
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Assist all clients (homeowners, vendors, board members & fellow employees) in a professional and friendly manner
  • Ability to perform accurate data entry
